Our rooms bear the titles of poems by local writer Louis Pergaud
“Chant d’Aube” (“Song of Dawn”): in red tones, opens onto the park, beautiful purple beech tree, bathroom with shower.
“Coucher du Coq” (“When the Rooster Goes to Sleep”): stylish black and white tones, view onto the church steeple and its rooster, bathroom with spa bathtub.
“Chant du silence” (“Song of Silence”): 540-square ft. suite for 4 guests, in beige tone and natural wood, colonial decoration, bathroom with shower in teak.
“Eveil du Village” (“When the Village Awakens”): 540-square ft. suite for 3 guests, tripe view, decoration in Toile de Jouy, bathroom with double basin in 1930 style, shower with mosaic.
“Renaissance” (“Being Born Again”): large 324-square ft. room, double exposition, flowery decoration, 63-in. bed splitable in two, marble bathroom.
Also at your disposal:
- a large, lantern-shaped drawing room, a music room, a marvelous dining room, a billiard room, a hammam (€15/sessions for 1 to 4 guests), bicycles, lawn tennis, etc.

Next to the castle’s great gate stands the majordomo’s quarters which was recently renovated and kept its authenticity. It provides a double-glazed veranda in the style of a chic garden pavilion furnished with a wood stove (wood included). This large living room is as pleaseant in the winter as in the summer when all windows are opened onto the marvelous garden. In the spring and summer: fruits and vegetable from the backyard garden and organic orchard, toys for children, deck chairs, private terrace with gas barbecue.
On the lower ground: living room with foldable 1-person vintage sofa, open-hearth fireplace (wood included), TV with DVD player and a choice of 20 DVDs, hi-fi, Internet.
Fully equipped kitchen, small utility room, shower and WC. Central heating working on fuel oil (on request, €60/wk), water and electricity are included in the rate.
On the first floor: two bedrooms (one with a 63x79-in., the other with with a 63x79-in. bed splitable in two 31.5x79-in. beds), TV with DVD reader in each room, bathroom with WC. Household and bathroom linen are included.
Extras: delivery of croissants and bread every morning at cost price.
By reservation: table d’hôtes in the castle, fancy candlelight dinner, picnic basket, ready-to-eat meals.
