Elevated on a rock, the château de Montastruc is partially surrounded by a moat with water. A draw-bridge allows access to it.
The 12th to 13th century fortress walls are built above the 5th century caves habitat and protect the buildings dating from 14th to 18th centuries, deployed around the "Cour d'honneur".
Stables are from the 17th century and the pigeons tower is from the 18th.

This beautiful and noble family mansion and its part are listed and protected entirely by the Monuments Historiques of France, and the chateau is offered for weekly seasonal rentals accommodating comfortably up to 20 people.
