02 - Villa Baulieu(Bouches-du-Rhône) On an area of 300 ha, of which140 are covered with vineyards, in the middle of a historic park of 72 ha, in the middle of Pays of Aix, Villa Beaulieu is a family home dating back to the 17th century.
With the exception of the four corner towers dating from 1805, the castle has changed little since its construction. The park, designed in the 17th century, was partly replaced by an 18th-century French-style park. A plot is now planted with olive and almond trees.
Since its construction, the greatest Provencal families succeeded one another here, all of them paying attention to preserve this special place.
A tradition that continues even now through the Guénant family who, since 2002, have gradually restored the castle, the outbuildings and the park.
Since recently, the Villa is an exceptional house guest, a magical place in the spirit of Tuscan villas where luxury and serenity are the key words. Wine

09 - Château de La Cour au Berruyer(Indre-et-Loire) In Touraine, Val de Loire, the château de la cour au Berruyer was in the Middle Ages one of the four stronghold guards in the Chinon forest. It dominates the Cheillé market town, near Azay-le-Rideau.
Its defensive vocation justifies the foundation of a fortified castle in the 12th or 13th century by Philippe Berruyer, lord of the Cour Berruyer. The square construction presents several oval arrow slits and firearm holes with a guard walk at the top, still visible in the north-east corner of the main courtyard. An arched gate, with a pedestrian door, leads to the foreground and the castle.
The guard room situated over the porch is the site where Agnès Sorel, King of France Charles VII 's favourite, known for her legendary beauty, might have slept on her way.
On the ancient walls of the fortress a more comfortable house was probably erected in the 16th century, with mullioned windows. A huge square tower still exists with a stone spiral staircase remarkable by its size.
In the 16th century, important changes made the main wall slender, with the building of a five-arch gallery of Henri II's time (1519-1559)
This architectural feature gives the estate a refined look quite the opposite of its former defensive vocation.
The château de la Cour au Berruyer is also a winegrowing estate which welcomes you for visits and holiday renting in its charming manor listed as historical Monument. Wine
10 - Château de Beaulon(Charente-Maritime) The castle, built around 1480, was the residence of the bishops of Bordeaux in the 17th century. This high gothic manor is finely decorated: the two gables have plant croziers and the dormer window is a very nice example of flamboyant gothic.
In the park, in the shade, can be found natural and bountiful springs: the « Fontaines Bleues » whose calm waters present a strange dark blue colour.
Near the castle, the pigeon house, from 1740, has kept its twisting ladder and has 1,500 holes. Alcohol-liquor
