02 - Château Pape Clément(Gironde) In the history of the vineyards of Bordeaux, Château Pape Clément became famous thanks to Bertrand de Goth, archbishop of Bordeaux and futur pope Clément V, who get this vineyard during the XIIIth century. He improved the wine producing methods with success. During the XIXth century, Jean-Baptiste Clerc takes over to base the fame of the wine.

06 - Château de Beaulon(Charente-Maritime) The castle, built around 1480, was the residence of the bishops of Bordeaux in the 17th century. This high gothic manor is finely decorated: the two gables have plant croziers and the dormer window is a very nice example of flamboyant gothic.
In the park, in the shade, can be found natural and bountiful springs: the « Fontaines Bleues » whose calm waters present a strange dark blue colour.
